Program on “New Approaches and Personnel Strategies in Religious Education” Held
A program titled “New Approaches and Personnel Strategies in Religious Education” was organized on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, under the coordination of our Faculty Dean’s Office and hosted by the Afak Student Club, with contributions from the Ministry of National Education, Directorate General of Religious Education, one of our faculty’s key external partners.
The program was attended by Hasan Özarslan, Head of the Department of Curriculum and Materials at the Directorate General of Religious Education, as well as Dr. Yusuf Ziya Öğretici and Pınar Maltepe, Education Specialists from the Ministry of National Education. In the program, Hasan Özarslan provided information about the activities of the Directorate General of Religious Education, the processes of the National Education Academy, and employment programs for graduates of Faculties of Divinity.
Dr. Yusuf Ziya Öğretici gave information about the participation processes in the Ministry of National Education’s overseas master’s and doctoral programs (YLSY), and Pınar Maltepe provided information about employment opportunities for our graduates in the positions of Assistant Education Specialist, Education Specialist, and Education Inspector. The program was followed with great interest and participation by our faculty’s students.
